Gulzar to pay tribute to Jagjit Singh

Indian lyricist-author Gulzar will pen a couple lines as a major aspect of the musical tribute to Jagjit Singh arranged by the creators of "Tum Container 2".

It will be hung on the late vocalist's fifth demise commemoration on 10 October.

"Tum Canister 2" creators Anubhav Sinha and Bhushan Kumar reproducing prevalent ghazal "Koi fariyaad" as "Teri fariyaad", chose to pay a musical tribute to Jagjit Singh.

Titled Tum Container Misses Jagjit Singh, the by-welcome just show will include a portion of the stalwarts from the music business and will be circulated live for fans. The show will be held at Rang Sharda, Bandra here, read an announcement.

Hariharan, Anup Jalota, Rekha Bhardwaj and Ankit Tewari will be a part of the tribute appear.

The second portion of 2001 film "Tum Canister" establishment is composed and coordinated by Sinha and mutually created by him with Bhushan Kumar of the T-Arrangement music name. Shot in the stylish scene of Scotland, "Tum Receptacle 2" reunites maker Kumar and essayist chief Sinha following a hole of 15 years.

"Tum Canister 2" highlights Neha Sharma, Aditya Seal and Aashim Gulati.

The star cast of the film will sing for the first run through in front of an audience as the drape raiser to the tribute.

Sinha said: "Yes the tribute will join numerous aspects, including an extraordinary video message from different music industry stalwarts who couldn't be available face to face, yet in soul, which will be played live to crowds. I'm likewise choreographing an uncommon spin-off with the star cast of 'Tum Container 2' as my own motion inside the tribute."

The film will hit the screens on November 18.
