US bomber suspect kills self as police close in

A 24-year-old man associated with a progression of fatal bombings around Austin, Texas, exploded himself at an early stage Wednesday in favor of an interstate as police surrounded him, police authorities said.

Police had followed the suspect to an inn close Austin, the state's capital city, and were tailing him when he pulled to the side of the street and exploded a gadget, executing himself, Austin police boss Brian Manley told journalists close to the scene.

"The suspect is expired and has critical wounds from an impact that happened from exploding a bomb inside his vehicle," Manley told correspondents. He said the suspect was white, however, declined to give his name.

Two Austin cops were moving toward the vehicle when the presume set off his gadget. One officer terminated at the vehicle and the other maintained minor damage when the bomb went off, Manley said.

Police had asked occupants of the region to treat bundles with doubt amid the shelling effort, and Manley cautioned inhabitants not to disappoint their monitor yet since specialists didn't know whether the suspect had put or sent more bombs.

Two individuals were killed and more harmed by a series of bombings in Austin, Texas' capital city, prior this month.

The bombings started with bundles left on doorsteps, at that point proceeded with a bomb clearly set off by a tripwire on Sunday and two bundles that exploded at FedEx Corp offices on Tuesday.
