Vidya Balan prepares for Kamala Das biopic
Performing artist Vidya Balan, will's identity seen depicting the life of author Kamala Das otherwise known as Kamala Surayya onscreen in her forthcoming biopic "Aami", has begun planning for the film by perusing Das' self-portraying book "My Story".
Vidya took to Twitter on Monday to share a photo of herself in which she can be seen perusing Das' book.
"As I get ready to tell 'your story' Kamala Das," Vidya inscribed the picture.
The primary timetable of "Aami", coordinated by veteran Malayalam movie producer Kamal, begins coming in Kerala on September 25. It will be over by November 5. Taking after a break, it will then be shot in Mumbai and Delhi.
Das, a honor winning and questionable author, passed away at 75 years old in 2009. Her choice to change over to Islam in 1999 had raised numerous eyebrows.
Taking after her demise in 2009 at Pune, her body was conveyed to Thiruvananthapuram and was covered at the Palayam Juma Masjid situated in the heart of the city.
